CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE FOR YOUR SIDE TABLE

If your side table is to sit beside a couch or an armchair, it should be slightly lower than that arm height. The most popular shape for an end table is square.

If you're looking for something a little different, consider lengthening the table to create a couch table (that runs the length of your couch) or a console table (along a wall).
